There are many resources available that talk about the seven main chakras, which are located on the physical body, however, there are many other chakras, some of which are located outside your physical body, including the Soul Star Chakra and the Earth Star chakra.
WHAT IS THE SOUL STAR CHAKRA?
The Soul Star Chakra is located about 6-12 inches above the top of your head, above the crown chakra. This eighth chakra is commonly called the “seat of the soul”, and is the area where you connect with Spirit and your higher self. It is associated with the colors white and/or gold.
SOUL STAR VS. CROWN CHAKRA - WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
Because both the soul star and crown chakras relate to spiritual connection there is some confusion about what’s each chakra’s specific purpose and how they differ.
The crown chakra represents our individual or ego-based relation to spirit and the cosmic universe. From the crown chakra perspective, we see ourselves as separate entities and through the crown, we connect and receive guidance.
In contrast, the Soul Star is the point where that dualistic nature morphs into one. We and “all that there is” completely merge.
The Soul Star Chakra meanings relate to infinite energy, spirituality, divine wisdom, and spiritual compassion. The soul star chakra is associated with the origin of enlightenment and with the principle of ascension, and to the ideal, 'I transcend'.
This chakra acts as a gateway, allowing specific information and divine light to be downloaded and filtered down into the crown chakra for distribution throughout the body. Those who have developed certain spiritual gifts may utilize the soul star chakra, and gain access to the Akashic records.
